Big Canoe Adventure Tour

Engage with the historic Canadian fur trade through an interactive paddling adventure.
Join us in St. Malo Provincial Park for a rewarding canoe tour full of fun and adventure. Your "gouvernail" (guide), will share stories and lore of the Canadian fur trade as you actively participate in a "day in the life" of an 18th century Voyageur (traveller). Our replica "canot du nord" holds up to 12 passengers, so teamwork is part of the fun and challenge.
Wilderland Adventure Company
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your guide and taken through a safety briefing and an introduction to paddling. We'll then board the canoe and embark on a tour across St. Malo Lake. The goal is to keep rhythm with your team and enjoy the stories and lore of the "fur trade life" from over a century ago. You'll want to keep a keen eye out for elusive wildlife such as deer, fox, turtles, and eagles who sometimes reveal themselves along the shoreline.

1.5 hours (90 minutes).
