Our tours in Manitoba are located on the original lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Assiniboine, Dakota and Dene Peoples, and the homeland of the Mètis Nation. We respect the Treaties that were made on these territories, we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and we dedicate ourselves to move forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration. We encourage all trail users to learn more about the land that they are travelling on.
Winter is an incredible season to get outdoors and experience the natural world. When the snow is deep and the cold sets in, another world emerges. Join our guides for an engaging trek into the boreal forest and seek out the evidence of the active animal kingdom. With some luck and a quick eye, we will catch a glimpse of deer, eagles, rabbits, and foxes.
Snowshoeing Tours are led by knowledgeable guides who know the Pinawa area and Whiteshell Provincial Park. All guests will have an orientation to safe winter activity and a fun snowshoeing trek. The tour includes a campfire & bannock along stories & legends of Canada's earliest inhabitants, explorers and fur traders who used the winter months as their gateway to the nation's interior.
Snowshoeing opens up the forgotten season of adventure in the winter months. Come explore the trails when the crowds have faded away.
