The beautiful "Whiteshell" is an outdoor paradise. The park hosts many diverse front country hiking trails and camping as well as deep backcountry wilderness routes. The unique Petraforms historic site in the north and the "UFO landing site" in the south provide some must see locations hidden in the boreal forest.
We offer 3 tours into the park to satisfy the adventurer within you and provide an opportunity to explore this amazing place. All of our tours include a Canadian heritage component of paddling the vast waterways and once fur trade route through this pristine landscape.
Our trip leaders will share about the significance that the Whiteshell Park has in the province of Manitoba from the early dwellers to the expansion of the fur trade to the harnessing of the Winnipeg River's energy to provide Manitoba with electric power.
Don't forget to bring your fishing rod, binoculars, and a willing attitude to experience new things. The park holds many species of wildlife, world class fishing, and something new to discover around every bend in the river or along the trail.
All of our tours include professional guides, park and camping permits, included meals, camping and activity equipment and local services such as Manitoba Parks staff to provide interpretation programming. We DO NOT provide transportation to Riding Mountain on our general tours EXCEPT when indicated. We can provide group transportation for an additional cost. Contact us for information.
